Lakes Gliding Club

The Lakes Gliding Club is dedicated to the pursuit of non-powered flight. Our club is based at Walney Airfield in Barrow in Furness in Cumbria, on the edge of the English Lake District. The Lakes Gliding Club has a wide range of gliders available for hire and we offer flying tuition as well. So whatever flying experience you have, you will be more than welcome to experience soaring flight in a glider at one of the friendliest little gliding clubs in Britain.
