River City Rowing Club-Home Page

Home page for the River City Rowing Club (RCRC). Founded in 1983, RCRC is a grassroots club created and maintained by volunteer efforts of its members. Members include both sweep rowers and individual scullers, competitive and recreational. Men and women master's teams are competitive programs for experienced rowers. The club also has competitive a juniors program, as well as novice and recreational masters teams. Every year RCRC offers a 3-week Learn to Row program to teach the fundamentals of sweep rowing. The program is for beginners with no rowing experience. Each fall RCRC hosts a 5K head race and other rowing and social activities. Practices are held at the Port of Sacramento in West Sacramento. It is also home to U.C. Davis crew.
