A progressive congregation located at the Gershman Y, in Philadelphia. Services are offered for Shabbat, twice monthly, as well as for Holiday celebrations. Educational and other programs are provided throughout the year.

Congregation Leyv Ha-Ir, Hebrew for Heart of the City, is a small, inclusive, growing Jewish Reconstructionist congregaton that meets at the Ethical Society in Center City, downtown Philadelphia. Led by Rabbi Julie Greenberg, the synagogue has an abundance of activities, including Shabbat and holiday celebrations, learning and opportunities for community outreach and connection.
