New Zealand Labour Party

Principal party in the New Zealand government. Led by Prime Minister Helen Clark. In the 1980s the party, in government, moved dramatically to the centre instituting a series of neo-liberal economic reforms leading to a number of splits in the party. The party has moved leftwards under Clark.
