Rowton Castle is a beautiful 17th century grade II listed building, set in 17 acres of tranquil grounds six miles west from the historic market town of Shrewsbury. A castle has stood in the grounds at Rowton Castle for nearly eight hundred years, seeing many changes and alterations over the centuries. It has remained primarily a family home until being transformed into a luxury country castle hotel, retaining the splendour of yesteryear whilst providing facilities for the most discerning of guests.
