The World Water Monitoring Challenge (WWMC) is more about public awareness than it is about conducting science, but if you have concerns about your local water quality and want to get involved in a global movement, this might be the project for you. You can register at the main site and enter your data any time; there is also a large resource section at the site with handouts, lesson plans, promotional material, and backgrounders suitable for teachers, activists, homeschoolers, and the press.
