National Wildlife Federation's (NWF) mission is to inspire Americans to protect wildlife for our children's future. Our conservation work focuses on three major areas that will have the biggest impact on the future of America's wildlife: confronting global warming, protecting and restoring wildlife habitat, and connecting people with nature. Our Green Hour and Wildlife Habitat programs, along with the rest of NWF's reversing nature deficit campaign, brings people closer to the natural world -- giving them experiences that last a lifetime and build a sense of conservation stewardship.
