Eastend is a town situated in the Southwest corner of Saskatchewan Canada. The town site was originally the Eastern most post of the North West Mounted Police from Fort Walsh in the Cypress Hills. The town is well known as the Tyrannosaurus Rex or T Rex Capital of Canada being the location of the most complete T Rex fosil find in Canada. The T Rex Discovery Centre a was built just north of the town site and is open year round. The surrounding area boasts an abundance of Antelope, Mule Deer and White Tail Deer and is known as the hunting Capital of Southwest Saskatchewan.
