Coral Springs Orchid Society

The Coral Springs Orchid Society, a non-profit organization, is affiliated with the American Orchid Society. It was founded in 1973 by Elliott Mackle and a small group of orchid enthusiasts. The purpose was to meet and discuss orchids, how to buy, grow. and care for them, and to impart this knowledge on orchid lovers in the area, who would join the society or come to meetings. Membership is available to anyone who shows a sincere interest in orchids and who wants to actively participate in the activities of the Coral Springs Orchid Society.
