Welcome to the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement

The Centre for Grief Education is based in Melbourne Australia and has as its mission to provide, through education, consultancy, counselling and research, optimum support for grieving people, in order to assist their recovery and prevent chronic illness and ill health. The goals of the Centre are to significantly expand and improve support for bereaved people, to develop innovative support programs which address the needs of specific target groups, to change community attitudes to death, dying and the grief process and to significantly improve our knowledge of the grief process through applied research.
