Jeff Hatch was teaching a math class when one of his smartest students showed him a TI-83 Plus graphing calculator. “I was very impressed by the technology,” Jeff says, “but I thought I could create better software that would help all my students.” In 2004, Jeff quit his teaching job to create Zoom Algebra, an easy-to-use app which answered beginning algebra problems.
