In 2007, simplecall - the retail brand of Zamir Telecom – was founded out of the very basic need to connect with family and friends. Simplecall managing director Naufal Zamir's elderly mother was having multiple issues trying to use international calling cards to reach her loved ones back home. The PINs were long, the process was complicated and the whole experience was frustrating.
