Pinpointls Advanced Staff Personal Alarm Systems, for people at risk of violence at work, are installed throughout the UK and Ireland. In a Pinpoint installation, each staff member wears an Infrared Transmitter, activated by pushing its button or pulling the whole transmitter from its retaining pin. Every room has an Infrared Receiver which detects the infrared code from the Transmitter and sends its unique address via the data bus to Display Units and Pagers, giving responding colleagues the precise location. Patient Call Buttons may be installed and management information gathered. The whole System is automatically monitored.
