Wheeler Opera House - Aspen Colorado

The Wheeler Opera House, built in 1889 during the height of Aspen's Silver Boom, burned out and restored twice in the last 100 years, is today a vital living part of the culture of modern Aspen. Hosting community theater, children's theater, Broadway shows, opera, jazz, country and rock performances, lecture series, private and community events, the Wheeler is at the center of town -- at the center of Aspen's life.
