Nanette McGuinness, Soprano

Opera singer Nanette McGuinness, lyric soprano, has performed opera, oratorio, and chamber music in Europe, Canada, and the US. Her repertory ranges from music of the 18th century to pieces written in the last decade. She has performed with West Bay Opera, Pacific Repertory Opera, Berkeley Opera, Pocket Opera, Trinity Lyric Opera, Silesian State Opera (Czech Republic), and Opera San Jose (Opera in the Schools), as well as with the San Jose Symphony, Solano Symphony, Contra Costa Chorale, and Monterey Pensinsula Chorus. She is part of the chamber ensemble, ATHENA Trio, with Kathryn Cathcart and Kindra Sharich, teaches voices lessons privately, and also does freelance translation under the business name of ATHENA Translations.
