Born and raised in Hawaii, woodworker Tom Calhoun knows his woods and polished his craft in a variety of styles including studio furniture, wood turnings, carvings, marquetry and sculptures. His woodworking studio is nestled on the slopes of Haleakala, Maui. He works with Koa and other Hawaiian woods and with woods from the mainland to create desks, tables, lamps, vessels, carved cabinet doors, dining sets and more.
