To promote e-Science research and development in a broad area encompassing Wales and parts of the south-west of England. To accelerat the adoption of e-Science capabilities in industry and academia. To pursue research focussing in the following areas:- data and knowledge management and interoperation if heterogeneous distributed information resources problem-solving environments for scientific and engineering applications, distributed visualisation for immersive and collaborative applications.
