The Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland is dedicated to supporting the mineral sciences in the 21st century, with the general objective of advancing the knowledge of the science of mineralogy and its application to other subjects including crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, environmental science and economic geology. It does so through the organisation and support of meetings and publication of books, monographs and journals including Mineralogical Magazine, Clay Minerals and MINABS Online.
