The John Adams Institute was established to promote cultural exchange between the Netherlands and America, organizes two lecture series: American Literature Today (fiction) and American Focus (non-fiction). Over the past ten years, it has built up a program that can now claim to be a key feature of Amsterdam's lively cultural scene.
